Hello Crafters! Today I’d like to share my December Online Card Club featuring the Inspiring Imperfections Bundle. It’s artistic and also beautiful. I wish you could see the projects in person to see the depth of its beauty!
The Inspiring Imperfections Bundle is inspired by the centuries-old technique of restoring treasured objects, you can pair the ceramic shapes with the fractured lines to make kintsugi-themed cards, scrapbook pages, and tags. Or create blossoming branches with the fractured lines and florals—perfect for paper accents and card focal points.
What’s Kintsugi? It’s a traditional Japanese technique of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer. The mended golf veins become a celebration of imperfection instead of hiding it. So cool!
The Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Paper is beautiful especially with gold foil accents. Also, there are 2 sheets of precut images that are great for quick and easy projects. You can die cut them with the coordinating Inspiring Imperfections Dies or fussy cut with a pair of scissors.
SPOILER ALERT! Here’s one of the cards included in this month’s kit. It’s simple and clean. I love playing with specialty paper that Stampin’ Up! always has a great collection of! I die cut the smallest label from the Whispers of Texture Specialty Paper (#167106) using the Traditional Labels Dies. I love the texture in that paper!
This second card is a fun-fold card. The left side of the card actually folds into a sort of a box as you open it. The Misty Moonlight background paper is a two-tone cardstock that I embossed with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder. You can see the white core color that two-tone cardstock naturally achieves when embossed. No sanding required!
I love the Textured Notes Dies! I die cut 2 nesting dies to layer them together.
