Happy December!!! Here is one of my favorite Christmas cards I have made this year featuring the Wonderland Stamp Set. This stamp set has been really popular among my customers and I can’t believe it’s going to be retired soon:)
Normally I would pick Cherry Cobbler, Real Red with Old Olive …… for my Christmas cards but I just love this gorgeous Gold with Basic Black color combo. It’s so classic and pretty!!!
I love this Vellum Banner accent! It was my solution to stamp this long greeting somewhere on my card front without covering up the beautiful tree image. So I stamped the greeting on a piece of Vellum Card Stock in VersaMark and then heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder to make it more visual.
So my next challenge was how to adhere this Vellum piece to my card front? My tree piece is adhered with Dimensionals on the card base so I applied one Dimensionals on the back of my Vellum piece on the left to adhere it on the card base. Then I adhered a Gold Metal Button with some Mini Glue Dots to cover up the Dimensionals which you can see through the Vellum.
Here are the measurements for you:
- Basic Black (card base) – 4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
- Winter Wonderland DSP – 4″ x 2″
- Shimmery White Paper – 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- Vellum Card Stock – 4 1/4″ x 1″
