Happy Monday!!! Here’s another project we did in my Big Shot workshop this month. Isn’t it adorable? It’s so pretty and makes a great gift!!!
I die cut the Snow Festival DSP (I love this DSP collection!!!) using the largest die of the Floral Frames Framelits and cut off the bottom a little bit to make it flat. You will need two pieces of any patterned paper for the front and back of your tote. The base of the tote is a piece of card stock (not shown in the photo). I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock to 4-1/4″ x 10″ and scored as follows:
- on the 10″ side – scored at 1/2″, 4-1/4″, 5-1/4″ and 9″
- on the 4-1/4″ side – scored at 1″
You will need to cut off one corner where the 1/2″ and 1″ score lines meet. You also need to cut the bottom sections up to the 1″ score line.
I used the Bold Snowflake Single Stamp (#132338, available till Jan. 2) and the Mixed Medley Hostess Stamp Set to decorate the front of my tote. The Silver Glimmer Snowflake die cut and the rosette add an extra touch.
My red rosette was created using the Designer Rosette Bigz Die. If you don’t have the die, you can make it by scoring a strip of paper. I scored every 1/4″ of paper to make the green rosette shown above. Using the Designer Rosette Die makes it super easy because it cuts and scores at the same time and has two pretty edge designs which eliminate punching the edge of paper if you like to have a decorative edge.
