Hello Stampers! Today I’d like to share my October Online Card Club featuring the adorable Gingerbread Man Bundle!! It’s so cute! Let’s take a look at it!
There are so many options with this bundle. You can use the gingerbread card die to create sweet handmade cards shaped like gingerbread cookies—or cut at the score line for single-layer pieces to use on card fronts and tags. Decorate your gingerbread people with stamped and die-cut faces, accessories, and candies for personality-packed holiday cards and paper crafts.
I chose the new Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog to coordinate with the Gingerbread Man Bundle. This paper pack offers so much! You can create handmade holiday cards and tags. This unique assortment of paper and precut images makes it easy to coordinate colors and images on your Christmas cards and gift tags. It includes full-sheet designs, cut-apart designs for card fronts and tags, and precut images for quick accents.
SPOILER ALERT! Here are two of the projects included in this month’s kit. As you can see in the photo above the gingerbread girl is pretty big and makes a great focal image. For this card I stamped and embossed with White Emboss Powder on a piece of Pecan Pie Cardstock.
I love using Stampin’ UP!’s specialty paper! I think they always have a great selection of them. For this card I used the new All Season Velvet Specialty Paper (#166063) to die cut her hat and scarf. I think it adds a nice texture to the die-cuts. The All Season Velvet Specialty Paper comes with 3 colors (2 each of 3 colors) – red, green and white. Use all three colors for Christmas and holiday crafts or separate them out for other events throughout the year like Valentine’s Day, weddings, and more!
How about these cute die-cuts? Super cute and fun! I also used another specialty paper called “Flower Garden Foils Specialty Paper” for the candies. This paper features elegant floral and rattan designs with chic monochromatic metallic foil. It comes in soft pink, muted red, and sage green—perfect for creating stunning backgrounds and adding shine.
