Hello everyone! I can’t believe today is the last day to take advantage of the Snowflake Showcase Promotion. I am not quite ready to say goodbye to these exclusive products. How about you?
Today’s card was created using the Happiness Surrounds Stamp Set and the Snowfall Thinlits Dies. I really like this stamp set! It’s very versatile and is so fun to mix and match with the Snowfall Thinlits Dies.
For the base of the flower embellishments, I die cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock with the largest snowflake die and then trimmed off all the diamond tips with my Paper Snips to make it a non-winter design.
I love stamping on a piece of wood texture designer paper. For this card I used a pattern from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper and cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Using the Stamparatus I stamped the medallion and the small flower images several times in Mint Macaron ink as shown above.
To make it easy to stamp these flowers in my class, I made a template for the Stamparatus. Instead of moving your stamp on the Stamparatus, you will need to move your paper as indicated on the Stamparatus Grid Paper.
Follow these easy steps:
Step 1 (Blue) – Line up your paper with the BLUE rectangle as shown. Stamp the medallion and the small flower image as shown below.
Step 2 (Yellow) – Move your paper to the YELLOW rectangle. Carefully ink the half of your stamp and stamp the medallion image once. Rotate your paper to stamp on opposite side.
Step 3 (Red) – Line up the top left corner of your paper with the RED line. Stamp the medallion and the small flower images. Rotate your paper to bring the bottom right corner to the RED line, and then stamp the medallion and the small flower images as shown below.
Step 4 (Orange) – Line up the top right corner of your paper with the ORANGE line. Stamp the medallion and the small flower images. Rotate you paper to stamp on the bottom left corner of your paper.
To finish my card I stamped some flowers on Petal Pink Card Stock using Poppy Parade ink and then die cut them using the Snowfall Thinlits Dies. Two large flowers are layered with die-cuts and then embellished with Gold Faceted Gems. I also die cut some leaves and stems using Gold Foil Paper and Old Olive Card Stock. So pretty!
Happy Stampin’!!!
