Happy Friday everyone! Can’t believe tomorrow is Halloween. I have two Halloween cards for you today from my recent class featuring the Happy Scenes Stamp Set. Love this stamp set!!!
The first card above is fairly simple with a great masking stamp technique. All you need to get the cool moon image in the background is an ink pad, sponge, and a 1″ Circle punch-out. Follow these easy steps:
- Place your circle punch-out on your card stock.
- Grab your sponge and ink it up.
- Carefully sponge around your circle punch-out making sure not to move your circle. Repeat until you are happy with the ink coverage.
To stamp the tree/pumpkin image, I used the new Archival Basic Black Ink Pad and then use the Tangelo Twist Marker to color the pumpkins and leaves. This piece is adhered with some Dimensionals to the back of a window frame die-cut.
This card is my favorite Halloween Card this year! The window portion of the card front opens up and it expands to the inside of the card. I added a little tag for easy opening – just pull it to open. How fun!!!
The window die-cut is a shaker filled with some Metallics Sequins and stamped spider die-cuts. And this piece is adhered to the folded part of Vanilla card insert. The bat is a punch art using the Elegant Butterfly and the 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch. This card is really fun to make!!
