I have a very unique card to share with you today. We made this at my Card Clubs last month. I knew it would be very popular among my Club members but I underestimated how much they loved it!!!
This card actually folds flat (5-1/4″ x 6″) and fits into an envelope so that you can mail it to someone special!
We also made a coordinating envelope at my Clubs using Envelope Punch Board. To make the envelope, you will need a 9-1/4″ x 9-1/4″ DSP and follow the next steps:
- Align left edge of your DSP to the 4-3/8″ score line on your Envelope Punch Board.
- Punch and score lightly.
- Rotate paper 90 degree counter clockwise.
- Align score mark with Score Guide.
- Repeat for all our corners.
- Round corners with Reverse Punch
Tip: We applied a strip of Washi Tape right over each score line inside (or outside) to reinforce the score lines to prevent from tearing the paper.
I have found the instructions on Splitcoaststampers (click HERE) and actually made one using their measurements. However, I wanted to use a sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock for the base instead of a 12″ x 12″ as instructed on Splitcoaststampers because most of my customers use 8-1/2″ x 11″ size card stock. So I came up with different measurements for my card. I have attached a link below to my PDF file so feel free to check it out.
