Here is a step-up card of my yesterday’s card. For this card I focused on other ways to use the Illuminate Glimmer Ink instead of taking a stamp to the pad and then stamp on a piece of card stock.
The Illuminate Glimmer Ink is a pigment ink so I heat-embossed the sentiment below the tree with the Cherry Cobbler Emboss Powder and it really popped out!!!
The background embossed piece has a shimmery effect from the ink. I took the Illuminate Glimmer Ink Pad and tapped gently all over the embossed piece. You can also do this by using a stamping sponge or sponge dauber.
Here is another way to apply the Illuminate ink to an embossed piece for a different look. Instead of applying the ink to your embossed paper, try this technique. Open your embossing folder and then apply the ink to one side of the embossing folder. Place a piece of paper inside and run it through your Big Shot. You will experience different results by the amount of the ink you apply to the embossing folder and also the side of embossing folder you apply the ink to.
Did I tell you this card is an easel card? I LOVE it when you can change an ordinary card to more unique one by simply folding one section of card front and adhering a piece of card stock to it!!!
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a good day!!!
