I had so much fun with my monthly Card Club ladies Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. They are so energetic and get me going each month.
We created these “Be Thankful” party favors and two cards at this month’s workshops. I love Mr. Turkey! He is one of the stamps called “Gift Givers” from the Holiday Mini Catalog. YES, there is a coordinating punch!!! The Curly Label punch will make it easy for you. In fact, they were happy to hear that at the workshops especially I made them cut the medallion image with a pair of their scissors on one of the cards we did.
I like this color combination (More Mustard and Soft Suede). We used the 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle punch for the front and back pieces. The same punch we used for the rosette at my Big Shot workshop last week (see below). We cut off three scallops to have the bottom flat.
To make the base for the “Be Thankful” party favor, cut and score your card stock as follows:
- Cut card stock to 5-3/4″ x 2-1/4″.
- Score at 1/4″, 1-1/4″, 3″ and 4″ on the 5-3/4″ side.
- Score at 1″ on the 2-1/4″ side.
- Cut off the smaller rectangle section of the 1/4″ tab.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
