Hello Stampers! Here is one of the cards we made at my Card Club in September featuring the Cauldron Bubble Bundle. I love the Toil & Trouble Suite products in the new Holiday Catalog. The colors are bright and images are so darn cute!
My choice to color these adorable stamp images are using the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. Coloring is not really my favorite thing to do but I found it’s easier and forgiven when using these Stampin’ Blends. No harsh marks left!!! Love it!
The colorful background card stock (Gorgeous Grape, 4″ x 5-1/4″) is embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder. I am not a fan of adhering a piece of paper over the embossed surface so I carefully inserted my Gorgeous Grape Card Stock leaving about 2-1/2″ out of the embossing folder. You can adhere your pattern paper (2″ x 4″) onto your Gorgeous Grape Card Stock before running through your Big Shot so that you know where to emboss.
To color my cute ghost I colored the entire image using the Smokey Slate Light Stampin’ Blends and then immediately went back with the Color Lifter Stampin’ Blends to take away some of the Smokey Slate color. You need to do this very quickly in a small circular motion while it is still wet. I love this technique!
