Happy Friday!!! Have you noticed that I have been absent quite often lately here on my blog? Here is one of the reasons that prevents me from blogging regularly….. besides having my boys at home during their summer break.
A few months ago I was requested to have my Christmas Advent Calendar class once again. I believed it has been 2 years since I had it for the first time. I was so thrilled to have over 20 ladies immediately signed up for it. Some of them even ordered an extra kit for their loved ones as a Christmas gift.
It takes a tremendous amount of preparation involved for me to offer this class as a 3-hour class. Otherwise, the ladies would have to come with a sleeping bag:) So the preparation actually started in June with my lovely husband. Have I ever told you my Stampin’ Up! business involves my family including our dogs? According to him, our dogs are used to getting “late” dinners…… I hate to admit it but it’s so true!
Here’s Larry in his assembling line of the wooden frames in the garage. It even has 2 tiered lines! He does an amazing work too!!!
My prep work started about a month ago as soon as I was able to purchase some of the brand new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I had to re-design some of the embellishments due to the retired products. I am really happy with the results. Check out the following products I used from the new Holiday Catalog:
- All Is Calm Snowflake Embellishments (page 22)
- Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies (snow word die, page 22)
- Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack (page 7)
- Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies (joy word die, page 22)
- Frosted Sequins (page 22)
- Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies (bow die, page 9)
