Hello Stampers! Here is one of the cards we made at my Card Club workshop this month featuring the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set and the Snowfall Thinlits from the Snowflake Showcase Exclusive Collection!
To make this card we started with a piece of Whisper White Card Stock (4″ x 5-1/4″) and applied Night of Navy ink using the Sponge Brayer which is my new favorite tool to make an ombre background. This takes a little bit of effort to keep rolling the ink onto the card stock. I wanted to have the bottom of the card stock fairly dark to show off the sentiment well.
Next when the card stock is dry, we applied Frost White Shimmer Paint using a Sponge Dauber as shown above. Let it dry or use the Heat Tool.
When the paint is completely dry, we heat embossed these beautiful snowflakes with the Silver Emboss Powder. Make sure to rub across paper with the Embossing Buddy before stamping to prevent extra powder from sticking. Also stamp the largest snowflake in the center of your paper so that it will align with one of the flourish snowflakes. We also embellished it with the Snowflake Trinket.
I love these beautiful snowflakes!!! We used the White Velvet Paper (I’m sorry to tell you that it’s sold out now) to die cut the flourish snowflake die and two of the small snowflakes. We used the Shimmery White Card Stock to die cut the largest snowflake. So pretty!!!
