Happy Friday! Hope you are not tired of my projects with the Day of Gratitude Stamp Set yet. I keep making more projects with this stamp set. Can you tell that’s my favorite set right now?
I had so much fun yesterday with the Fabulous Five ladies at their monthly workshop and this is one of the cards we made.
To get the multiple colors for the medallion image, first we stamped the image in Whisper White Craft ink on a piece of Early Espresso card stock. Then we colored it with Stampin’ Pastels using sponge daubers. The colors are More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Always Artichoke. After coloring it we used a small piece of Swiffer (dry sweeping cloths) to take excess pastels. We cut out the image with a pair of scissors (sorry there is no punch!!!) and added a decorative brad (Antique Brads) in the center.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you like my card and try this technique. It’s fun to watch the colors appear on the paper. Have a great weekend!
