Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a great holiday season. It was not my intention to take a month off from my blog but I am happy to say that I was able to take care of a few projects around the house that I wanted to do for a long time. It’s a great way to start the year off!!!
Here is a beautiful card featuring the Here’s to Cheers Stamp Set. I wanted the card to be shiny for the new year’s celebration so I heat-embossed the sentiment with the Silver Emboss Powder on a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock and then adhered it to a scallop circle die-cut out of Silver Foil Paper. The wine bottle/glass image is stamped with the Archival Basic Black ink on a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock.
The pretty circle die-cut piece is made using with one of the Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies. I first die cut a piece of Silver Foil Paper with one of the Layering Circles Framelits and then die cut this piece with the detailed rectangle die. I really like the die! Don’t you??
I have some photos of our property to share with you. These were taken this morning. We had about 3″ of new snow overnight. Both of our ponds are covered with snow. I had to shovel some snow to make a way to my studio today:)
Here is a photo of our big pond… I just hope my dogs will stay away from there. They have never attempted to go to the island in this situation but it looks closer than normal with so much snow there. Brrr….
Here is a photo of our dock. No fishing today!
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great 2017!!!
