Hi Stampers! I finally got to try these “Stair-Step Boxes” that I wanted to make forever! I needed to make it quick so I used the Stampin’ Up! Matchbox die (retiring 5/31/112) to cut four boxes that are nested inside.
Here is the photo of inside of the box. The boxes are secured with Sticky Strip.
I stamped the outside of the box using the Darning Adventure stamp set. The sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.
I really like this “Well Worn” Designer Series Paper (122359)! When I made my first box, I adhered four boxes inside first and didn’t stamp the outside so I decided to use the designer paper to dress it up. Now I don’t know which style I like better????
I know I will miss our 1-1/4″ Striped Grosgrain ribbon…. Yeah, they are all retiring in a few days. I think I will stock up at least some in my favorite colors.
We will be making these boxes at my Big Shot workshop on Wednesday, May 30th from 6:30 pm. There are a few spots still available. Please contact me if you would like to attend. The cost is $5 per person. We will be making one more project.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!
